Take your Acting to the Next Level .... 

As a new actor you are probably ready to dive in head first! But in order to be succesful in your venture, you must lay a foundation and learn the basics to get you started.  I have created a series of Classes to help guide you down the Path towards your goal in Acting. Each class is designed to go from one to the next each building on the previous one. I recommend you start at the beginning, and it will help create a solid foundation for you to build upon.  Available classes span from Beginner to Intermediate. All classes taken qualify as Resume credit (see each class for Resume Credit listing)

Each month the Classes, Topics & Events change. 

  • Classes are in-depth lectures with Q&A Time. 
  • Meet & Greets are mini-mixers for Actors/Extras with a dedicated Q&A Time and sometimes a Special Guest speaker.  
  • Mixers are large scale all-industry mixers (networking events) for everyone within the Acting /Entertainment industry. No class, No Q&A, just mingling & networking. These large scale events will be no more than 1 or 2 per year.

CLASS 2: Getting Started – Movie 102: Moving Beyond Extra Work  (Katrina Cook)

CLASS 3: Getting Started: Movie 201 - Auditions, Callbacks & Follow Ups (Katrina Cook)

Includes: what we expect from you & making a positive impression

All classes are lecture with Q&A time. Various locations, all with food/drink available for purchase.  Class is open for all ages, recommended if only one person from a family can attend that it would be the parent for all children under the age of 12. All guests must be pre-registered & have their own ticket. No sit-ins or non-registered guests, No exceptions. 

Registration Fees $30 per person/per class = Total of $90 for all 3 classes. 
Cash price only available for last minute fill ins, if space is still available. Not guaranteed. 



Ready to Sign Up for a Class? 

  • Request a paypal invoice be sent by sending an email to Katz@KatzKasting.com (Even if you don't have a paypal acct you can pay by credit card using this method)
  • Put subject: "Name of Class you want to attend
  • Include your email address you have linked to your paypal acct, along with the name(s) of each person that will be attending
  • Finalized details will be sent once registration is received! 

LOCATION: Restaurant in Dallas, Tx (varies per event)
Optional dinner purchase is recommended, but not included in the Registration Fee. 
Please note: Space is limited.

Special Events Minimize

Writer, Producer & Director Mike Norris (son of the legendary Chuck Norris) will be our special guest speaker at the NOVEMBER Meet & Greet. 

I just wrapped a movie with Mike Norris (I am Gabriel) and he has more projects on the horizon. Get a sneak peek on upcoming projects, as well as what he (as a Director) seeks to find in talent during the audition process. 

This is not a mixer, everyone who is registered will be guaranteed a seat. You can have a meal (if desired) or a drink and hear a presentation from the Guest speaker, followed by an open Q&A. To me, a Q&A is more valuable time because you have the opportunity to enhance your craft and your professionalism based on ideas and tips you learn during the Q&A.

Location: Grapevine, TX (in front of the Grapevine Mills Mall, location given once your registration fee is confirmed)
Time: 7pm-9pm    * see schedule below * 
Event Ticket:  Registration Fee $40 per person, (payable by paypal or check), Tickets for this event will be limited, and on a first come basis. No cash refunds. Once you register, you will be counted towards our overall headcount. You are responsible to sell your spot if you can not attend. 

SCHEDULE:  
 7pm-9pm: Guest speaker & Q&A

No guests unless they are registered. Fee is per person and includes anyone (regardless of age or acting intent) who plans to sit inside the room. 
 To Pre-Register for this event:

3. Include your name, phone #, and how many tickets you want ($40 price is per person).
4. Do you understand that this is a non-refundable event, and if you are unable to attend, you are responsible to sell your own ticket? 
5. Your paypal email address (to pay by check or debit/credit card) You may still pay by this method even if you do not have an active paypal account. You will receive an invoice which will be due upon receipt, but no later than Oct 29. 

 PLEASE NOTE: Registration does not include a meal or drink purchase. Water is provided, anything beyond that is at your own discretion & on your own bill. Location has a variety of meal, appetizer & dessert options. 

Registration must be paid in full no later than Oct 29.  Please pay as soon as you can to guarantee your spot. The location has given us a limit on seating. Once we get to our last 10 tickets, we will begin notifying those who are not yet paid, and possibly begin releasing any unpaid registrations on an as-needed basis.
