Principal photography scheduled to begin June 14. Shooting for 5 weeks/ 5 days a week.
This is not your typical teen HORROR Film. The emphasis is on comedy set in a mystery/horror.

GENERAL EXTRAS CASTING NOTICE:
Casting Non-Union Extras! Please help spread the word. Perfect opportunity for anyone to get their foot in the door for acting! All dates listed below could change, and many roles will be cast based on if you will fit in our specified wardrobe, so please do not forget to send your sizes if requested.
Please read this entire page BEFORE you submit & before you ask questions! I tried to put as much info here as I have available to answer your questions. Make sure you can really do the dates before you submit. Once you email me, I expect you to be available once booked.
Since this is a high school, we need to be seeing the same extras in the various school scenes (unless noted below). Those who can be available more than one day will be booked FIRST. If you can only work ONE day you may sign up for the FIRST DAY of either one of the 2-day shoots, the Finale Scene (in Austin), or the Hallway scene. The Classroom or Gym scenes will not be booked with anyone who can only be here ONE Day.

SCENE: LUNCHROOM - Shooting Sat & Sun July 2 & 3 @ 9am (If you can only do ONE DAY, Sat is best) This are BIG days! Judd Nelson is here. Big Comedic Scenes. Invite others to sign up & join you!

- SCENE: HALLWAY - Shooting Wed July 6 (You can not be in the Classroom Scenes above, but must be in either the Homecoming Dance scene or the Lunchroom Scene) Limited # of extras booked. * This scene is full!

Extra work is done on a volunteer basis. If you sign up for a smaller scene, there is the possibility that it already be full. Make sure you include a variety of "days available" when you sign up. If you can ONLY work the day that is full, you may not be booked or asked to do another day.
DOOR PRIZES: (All extra days )

- Copy of the Best-selling Graphic Novel "Bad Kids Go to Hell"
- Your photo taken with a Cast Member of your choice (that is on set the day of your win) or the Producer or Director of the film.
Extra Incentives:for those who come back for multiple days!
- Work only 1 day (any): Name goes into a drawing for the door prizes listed above (minimum of 2 winners per day)
- Work 4 or more days (any): Get your copy of the Best-selling Graphic Novel signed by the Creators of “Bad Kids” and members of the cast that are on set your 4th/5th/6th days! And still be eligible to win the other door prizes each day you are on set!
WARDROBE SPECIFICS: Season: 2011 Fall / Winter
- High School Students - (Private school - you will need to provide your own "uniform" as detailed below)
- Boys Everyone bring khaki pants (no cargo pants or pockets on the legs). If you have one of these: Navy blazer, navy cardigan, or navy sweater vest - wear a white dress shirt underneath. If you do NOT have one of those then you need to wear a light blue oxford button down shirt. Shoes: Brown or black dress shoes & belt. Ties provided! The more options you bring, the better!
- GIRLS: Criss cross ties & skirts provided (velcro adjustable waist). You bring white dress shirts, & at least 1 of these: SOLID COLOR navy blazer, navy v-neck sweater or navy cardigan. Accessories: Tights & knee high socks in navy, white, or patterned black. Shoes- closed toe flats, heels and boots.The more options you bring, the better!
If you are on set longer than 6 hours. Lunch will be provided. Bring your own snacks, as craft service is limited!!
If you are new to KatzKasting or this is your first time to be an extra, please read the NEW TALENT INFO so you can be aware of what you are getting yourself into before you sign up!!!! : )

To sign up to be an extra you need to follow these directions below. You will receive a auto-reply once your email is received by the Casting office. (As long as you sent to the right email box listed below). Do not reply to this auto message. Please do not send duplicate submissions. Please note that certain extra days require additional photos to be attached with your submission for consideration.
***** LOCAL HIRE ONLY ***** You must be able to get yourself to and from set in Dallas, TX (or Austin, Tx). Production does not provide any travel expenses or otherwise for local hires.

- Put subject of your email "BK EXTRAS AUSTIN" or "BK EXTRAS DALLAS"
- Attach your headshot & resume. If you do not have a headshot & resume you may submit any photo that clearly shows your face and does not include multiple people.
- In the body of the email include your NAME, Email Address, & Best phone number (cell preferably)
- List your age: As a number if a minor, or "Over 18" or "Over 21" (for HS Student submissions only)
- What extras role (listed above) are you most interested in?
- What days are you available ? (from list above- give me as many options as possible, just listing one day may not get you booked if the day is already full.)
- How many days would you ideally like to be booked? (From 1- ALL 7 days)
- Do you have the appropriate wardrobe for whatever you signed up for, or can you get it?
- Have you attached any requested additional photos or height/weight/sizes (if needed)?
