With a combined 12 years of experience in the casting industry, KATZ KASTING  provides producers, directors, and advertising agencies with prompt and professional casting services. We cast all ages for all types of entertainment for both union and non-union principal jobs. CASTING DIRECTOR KATRINA COOK and ASSOCIATE JOYCE DANIELSON will work tirelessly to match our clients with the most suitable and highly trained actors for their project, regardless of budget.

We have worked closely with Lifetime network to select principal roles for a series "Inspector Mom" bringing in talent from both LA & NY.

CASTING DIRECTOR & CEO OF KATZKASTING

 I will never forget my first time on a movie set. It was midnight, and I had been invited to watch a "shoot-out" for an indie film, that turned out being my first extras casting job. I did not know what to expect, but 6 hours later, I was hooked. Watching the intricate details that went into play just for one short clip of a guy blowing his brains out, it amazed me! I came back out the next night to see more, I was asked to be an extra, I told my friends, and they wanted to be extras, so the production company said "Great!" Day after day, more of my friends were showing up to be extras, finally the Producer called me and asked me if I thought I could get together at least 30 people for a bar scene, and if I could, he would put my name in the credits for Extras Casting. Seventy-five people showed up for the bar scene. Most I didn't directly know. It was then that I realized that the majority of people out there have the desire to be in a movie, but didn't know how to get their foot in the door. I decided that I enjoyed sharing the movie experience with people, and thus in the following months I created KATZ KASTING which skyrocketed to over 1000 extras within the first few months. 

Now I am pleased to be experienced in all areas of Casting. I love being on set, in the midst of the action. I love discovering new talent. I love the thrill of congratulating someone on getting the role. I love my job and want to share the movies with everyone!

Joyce Connick Danielson

CASTING ASSOCIATE

 I started my career as a volunteer for a local cable company, running
the teleprompter during the weekly news cast. Once I stepped in the studio I
was hooked on being part of this wonderful world of television. As a
volunteer the company used me in a wide range of departments. Each one is unique and interesting to me. Because I have a magical way of bringing out the best in people when talking to them I even got a chance to work as a
field reporter.

 A few years later I worked on my first feature film and I knew I had
found my calling. I began doing work as a casting director & extras casting director on independent films. Since then I have worked on several feature films, television shows, M.O.W., commercials, web-episodes, industrial training videos and Point of Purchase videos.

I am known for my charm and charisma. Some directors tell me I also
bring an encouraging sense of calm and confidence to the project. I am
someone you can trust and depend on knowing you need the job done right, in time and within budget.

CASTING ASSISTANTS:

We have 2 Casting Assistants (Nicole Cioffi & Josh Durham) who work with me on a regular basis. Whether it is sign-in for auditions, reading with the actors, check-in on set for the extras, or helping with paperwork. They very actively help me get the job done - right and on time!

CASTING PA'S:

We have 3 Casting PA's (Todd Peters, Lee Irving, & Jason Skeen) who help out from time to time. These guys are dedicated Actors who are always willing and ready to help when I need extra hands on deck.  From auditions to on-set, they are passionate about the biz and you can tell by their energy and smiles!
