KATZ KASTING is a full-service company, casting PRINCIPALS and EXTRAS.

LOCAL CASTING: If you are filming locally- Dallas metroplex's large talent pool and close proximity to Austin, Shreveport & Oklahoma, give you the chance to audition a wide range of actors for each role. We will make sure you see the right people for your project. We are used to working closely with the AD department on films and always try to accommodate the requirements of the director, while staying within budgetary considerations. We are happy to work in conjunction with LA or NY casting directors.

ON-LOCATION CASTING: If you are filming elsewhere- we are ready to pack up and go at a moment's notice. We have hosted remote auditions in LA, AZ and other locations, with or without being present. (depending on your budget). If pulling in large amounts of talent for any given project, we do need ample time on location to bring in the best options.

For PRINCIPALS, we provide all the services you need after your session is finished and the talent is selected. We will secure talent through agents, provide you with complete Cast Lists including contact information, Station 12 union talent, Taft-Hartley waivers if necessary, and obtain child labor permits.

For EXTRAS, we make all booking arrangements, including time, location, and wardrobe specifications. We provide at least 1 casting assistant for on-site check in for each day requiring more than 20 extras. On days with 50+ extras, we bring in additional persons based on the amount of extras booked. We will collect extra pay vouchers, verify tax forms, and (at your discretion) pay out cash end of day. If you are paying extras by check, we will turn in all paperwork to the office within 24 hours so payment can be processed promptly.

We offer a wide variety of casting options, including:

On Camera Casting:

Full-day, half-day, two-hour and one-hour sessions. Weekend and Evening casting, if needed. Video demo submissions available for out of town talent. You can sit in the entire casting session, or have myself and my assistants run the session, hand pick the top choices for each role, and meet with you in a separate session to review video footage of these selections. Callbacks are available for all roles, as needed. We own a personal mini-dv camera to tape these sessions.

Online Casting:

We hand pick photos & resumes and email directly to you for your convenience. A casting session will follow at your discretion.

Voiceover Casting:

Casting sessions or Voice Demo reels.

Real People Casting:

Out on the street or in a casting session, we can bring you 'Real People' to give your project that 'person on the street' look and feel. We're happy to go to ice rinks, beaches, museums or factories to find just the right 'Real Person' for you. If you need someone with a specific skill, occupation or language, they are probably in our extensive and diverse talent files.

Extras Casting:

We have experience in dealing with large numbers of background actors (300+) and we are familiar with the special arrangements needed for costume fittings, etc. We provide on set check in plus all of the usual services.

Stand-Ins / Photo Doubles:

We locate talent to be on set daily (or as needed) for principal stand-ins.

Talent Files:

We host a nationwide database of talent from extras to seasoned actors, many not accessible through agents. Including: Actors, Models, Kids, Celebrities, Unusual Types, Real People, Musicians, Look-a-Likes, Emcees, Trade Show Hosts, Historical & Costume Characters, Clowns, Murder Mystery Players, Stand-up Comics, Singers, Dancers, Variety & Circus Artists, Narrators, Impressionists, Foreign Language Talent, Athletes, Nurses and Animal Actors.
