Short Synopsis: In first-century Israel, an itinerant Jewish Rabbi and his band of misfit disciples risk their very lives when they take on the entrenched religious leadership to flip the tables on the establishment and usher in the most radical story of faith, hope, and love this world has ever seen.

Union Status: Non-Union
PAY RATE: $1000/day Lead, $500-650/day Supporting + 10% Agency Fee (if applicable)
LEAD ROLES Include RT Airfare + Lodging + Meals.
NOTE: “Jesus” role can be an international hire, Airfare provided from Anywhere, must have passport and documents required to work in the US. Other Lead roles include airfare from US destinations only.
SUPPORTING ROLES are DFW modified local hire, Lodging on Site in group cast/crew lodging + Meals Provided, Travel not provided, Self Report to Capernaum Studios.
LODGING NOTES: Accommodations and amenities are communal with shared bunk/living space at the on-site studio location.
AUDITION NOTES: You will need to do your audition using your best Hebrew Accent. Samples will be provided for you to review.
ROLE NOTES: Long hair and beards are a plus! If cast, you will be expected to not cut your hair or shave until after filming is completed.

Jesus of Nazareth - LEAD, $1,000/day, (3 days) Male 30s, MENA (Middle East and North Africa)/ Ethnically Ambiguous quiet humility with a powerful presence and stature. Strong dramatic role with simulated violence. Some heavy physical movement is required. Expenses Paid, can be international.
Asa (The blind beggar) - LEAD, $1,000/day, (1 day) Male 20-30, MENA (Middle East and North Africa)/ Ethnically Ambiguous, beggar, simulated blindness, strong dramatic role with wide emotional range. Some heavy physical movement is required. Expenses paid, US only.
Mary Magdalene - LEAD, $1,000/day, (1 day)Female, 30-40, MENA (Middle East and North Africa)/ Ethnically Ambiguous, tormented by her demons, she has heard of Christ, and seeks him out to know him personally, wide emotional range, very strong dramatic role with heavy physical movement on the ground. Expenses paid, US only.
SUPPORTING ROLES:
Caiaphas - SUPPORTING, $650/day, (1 day) Male 50s, MENA (Middle East and North Africa)/ Ethnically Ambiguous, Chief Priest of the Jewish Temple, haughty, self-important, easily offended. Principal antagonist to Jesus. Strong dramatic role.
