How is this different than all the other tons of workshops available?
- I offer Feedback Forms to take home with you (helpful for parents as well!)
- I provide an email with all the video clips we taped during the class so you can learn from after the workshop is over
- I use scripts that are content and language appropriate for all ages. You do not have to worry about what your child is being exposed to.
- I cast all over the USA for various indie films of all genres. Once you attend my workshop, you become noted as a pre-screened talent in my database, and I will always allow you to at least audition by video for any project that you have interest in.

Join Casting Director Katrina Cook in an intense 8 hours of audition prep and performance.

Supporting Roles
Bit Roles
Making Strong Choices
Using real film scripts from previous or upcoming films that Katrina has cast. All scenes will be taped, played back, and critiqued on an individual basis. FEEDBACK forms will be available for you to take home so you can remember what was discussed.
LEAD/ SUPPORTING ROLES: -Focusing on Lead & Strong Supporting Roles. Scenes with lengthy dialogue and tips on how to start strong and not fizzle!
-BIT ROLES. We will also cover Bit Roles (Dayplayers, Under 5 lines & one line). There may only be a few lead and supporting roles, but most films have many bit roles available. I've worked on some films that had more than 30 bit roles for local casting! Some of the hardest and trickiest roles to audition for are the Under 5 and 1 liners. This part of the workshop will focus on these bit roles and how to create a strong and memorable performance with your limited resources.
MAKING STRONG CHOICES: Acting is about making Great choices. We will explore and learn to create stronger choices to help stand out from the crowd.
OPEN FOR ALL AGES. First time, Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced actors are all welcome! Kids must be able to read by themselves. Scene content & language is appropriate for all ages, and age-appropriate scenes will be used for minors. Class size is limited for individual attention.
REGISTRATION FEE: $225 ($50 non-refundable deposit) INCLUDES Full day workshop, feedback form, video clips of all scenes via email (for personal use & review), and personal attention and critique during the workshop.

Payment schedule: Deposit due upon Registration. Balance due before Feb 20.
Parents: We have a waiting area for Parents, or you can drop off/pick up.
To Register: 1) Reply or Send an email to: KATZ@KATZKASTING.COM 2) Subject: Spring Workshop 2017 3) Include the name of the Participant, phone number, gender (some names I just can't tell, sorry!), and age range (for adults) or age (for minors). This will allow me to select the most appropriate scenes for you or your child. 4) You can pay in full, or just a deposit. If you want to pay it out in installments, let me know how you would like to set it up and pay dates. I will work with you, but you will need to make regular payments and be in communication with me of any delays. 5) No cash refunds. If you are unable to attend the workshop, it can be transferred to another student or another class/private consultation/or anything I offer in the future.
You will receive a paypal invoice for the payment in full (or deposit). Please pay at minimum the deposit to secure your spot. All registrations must be paid in full by Feb 20 or your spot may be released to someone else.
